Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is an action-packed first-person shooter inspired by the blockbuster film, blending intense gunplay with visceral hand-to-hand combat from a third-person perspective. Developed by Black Ops Entertainment with support from other Atari subsidiaries, this game delivers an immersive experience across multiple platforms.

Released in 2003 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox, it offers players the thrill of battling as the iconic Terminator, utilizing advanced scanning modes to detect hidden threats and secrets. The game also features a unique isometric shooter version for the Game Boy Advance, comprising 12 challenging missions filled with strategic combat and exploration.

The GBA edition introduces innovative multiplayer modes: a cooperative two-player mode where players work together to eliminate enemies across successive rooms, and an exciting capture-the-flag competition involving up to four players using portals for dynamic level traversal—accessible via the Game Link Cable. Additionally, a mobile puzzle game was released to expand the Terminator universe on handheld devices.

Note: A planned GameCube release was ultimately canceled, leaving players eager to experience the battle for humanity across various gaming platforms.
