The plot thickens when Batman rescues Mary from a Joker-planted bomb at Gotham Chemicals, where she is held hostage with her son. Using a transmitter, Batman tracks the villains to Gotham Bridge, only to discover Harley Quinn unmasked and revealed as part of a larger trap. After a fierce showdown, Batman defeats the Joker, who seemingly falls to his death. However, suspicions remain, prompting Batman to let Harley Quinn escape in order to keep her under surveillance.
