The story begins with a wanderer named Bartz investigating a mysterious fallen meteor. Along his quest, he encounters a diverse cast of characters and uncovers the threat posed to four elemental Crystals—powerful artifacts that safeguard the world from evil. These Crystals serve as a barrier sealing away the dark sorcerer Exdeath. It's up to Bartz and his allies to protect the Crystals from Exdeath’s sinister influence and prevent his return to power.
