Legends of Wrestling II ROM
Description
Legends of Wrestling II
Experience the thrill of professional wrestling with Legends of Wrestling II, a dynamic fighting game developed by Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City and published by Acclaim Entertainment. Released on November 26, 2002, for PlayStation 2 and GameCube, followed by an Xbox release on December 5, 2002, this sequel expands the roster with 25 new wrestlers, offering fresh rivalries and unforgettable moments—though it notably excludes Rob Van Dam, likely due to his recent WWE signing, while still including the legendary Eddie Guerrero.
Additional excitement arrives on the Game Boy Advance, launching on November 25, 2002, bringing portable wrestling action to your fingertips. This game marked the final title developed by Salt Lake City's studio before its closure in December 2002.
Game Modes & Features
In Career Mode, players take on the role of a wrestler working under various promoters across different regions. By winning and defending titles, you unlock new promoters in Shop Mode, enabling strategic upgrades. Progression is region-dependent, with storylines varying across territories—each offering 8 to 12 unique narratives, some influenced by the wrestler chosen. For instance, playing as Jerry Lawler unlocks storylines centered around his famous feud with comedian Andy Kaufman in the Southeast region.
The game also includes a Create A Legend (CAL) mode, allowing players to craft their own custom wrestlers. These unique characters can be used in storyline and exhibition matches, adding a personalized touch to your wrestling universe.
