Lego Racers 2 is an exciting Lego-themed racing adventure developed by Attention to Detail and published by Lego Software, with distribution in North America handled by Electronic Arts. Experience enhanced freedom in gameplay, allowing you to race or explore freely while interacting with various characters. The game features a robust car and character designer, offering more bricks for customization but fewer characters to create and modify. Choose from up to 11 opponents in exhilarating races through checkpoints arranged in a specific order each lap.
Utilize an arsenal of four weapons and an invisibility shield to gain the upper hand against rivals. Collect bubbles during races to randomly receive these power-ups—if you already possess one, the bubble grants a different item. Strategic use of these tools can turn the tide of competition.
On each track, racers can navigate between pink fences to repair their vehicles, restoring damage either partially or fully depending on the time spent. If a vehicle is destroyed, the character must proceed on foot until reaching a repair station to regain their vehicle and continue racing.
The game's main mode is a captivating single-player open-world adventure across five diverse worlds: Sandy Bay with lush landscapes and beaches, Dino Island featuring jungles and a lava building with a spiral staircase, Mars representing the red planet, The Arctic with icy terrains, and Xalax, a grand circular arena with an open blue center, encircled by a cyan track filled with cheering crowds.
