Enhanced Features
- Streamlined Progression: To ensure a linear and focused storyline, certain obstacles like altered environments, new NPCs, and strategically placed Strength boulders and Rock Smash rocks have been implemented. The world map has been redesigned to match these modifications, providing a cohesive regional experience.
- Rebalanced Trainer Battles: With 300 trainers—299 of which are mandatory—trainers are strategically repositioned to prevent avoidance. The game introduces double battles, environmental sections featuring rain and sun, and a dynamic difficulty curve with bosses always wielding a full team of six. Trainer levels increase gradually, minimizing the need for grinding.
- Balanced Wild Encounters: Wild Pokémon distribution and encounter rates have been extensively revised, adding new locations and encounter options. Gift and trade Pokémon have been removed to encourage alternative strategies.
- Improved Pokémon Viability: Pokémon learnsets have been revamped for better utility and effectiveness. Power points (PP) have been adjusted, and move accuracy has been enhanced across many moves, boosting overall battle performance.
- Evolutions & Abilities: Certain evolutions have been tweaked for easier accessibility. EV training has been removed, and each Pokémon species now has a single, unique ability, simplifying team building.
