Storyline & Setting
Three years after Champion Brendan's retirement, Hoenn faces catastrophic upheaval as a meteor shower reshapes the landscape, turning the southern regions into a desolate wasteland and destroying iconic locations like the Battle Frontier. This turmoil causes many Pokémon species to vanish, while mysterious new Meteoric Pokémon emerge across the region. At the heart of this chaos are three formidable and malevolent Pokémon threatening the world’s balance.
Your journey begins in Littleroot Town, where Professor Birch entrusts you with completing the Pokédex to document these new species. Along the way, you'll meet memorable characters such as April (or Gordon), Birch’s niece (or nephew), and Billy, the younger brother of Wally, the reigning League Champion. You'll also encounter Romero, the Petalburg Gym Leader, and Mosmero, his eccentric younger brother known for playful pranks that add humor and intrigue to your adventure.
