Tony Hawk's Underground ROM
Description
Tony Hawk’s Underground
Experience the thrill of skateboarding in Tony Hawk’s Underground, the exciting fifth installment in the iconic Tony Hawk’s series. Developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2003, this game offers a fresh twist on classic skateboarding gameplay across platforms like GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Game Boy Advance. In 2004, it made its way to Microsoft Windows as a budget release, expanding its reach.
Built upon the proven skateboarding formula of earlier titles, Underground invites players to explore dynamic levels, complete creative goals, and master a wide array of tricks. A standout feature is the deep customization system—design your own skater instead of choosing a pre-set pro, and carve your unique path through the game. Plus, for the first time, you can dismount your board and explore on foot, adding new dimensions to your adventures.
The story follows your character and their friend, Eric Sparrow, as they rise to professional fame and navigate their evolving friendship. Gameplay revolves around performing tricks through intuitive analog stick and button combinations—execute ollies, flip tricks, grab tricks, and grind on rails and edges. Use precise input during grinds to perform various tricks, and execute lip tricks on quarter pipes. On flat surfaces, chain together manuals and perform miscellaneous tricks like acid drops and wall-rides, delivering a dynamic and engaging skateboarding experience.
